Serve as primary intake contact for payer agreements and manage each contract’s lifecycle.
Assist with initial contracting/participation requests for chosen entities,
Handle inquiries about contracts and the contracting process in a timely fashion.
Organize, update, and manage documents using contract trackers and databases.
Ensure current and historical records are created and retained properly and maintain current contracts, files, and records.
Complete applications on all incoming payer, school, and regional center agreements.
Be responsible for tracking contract approvals, coordinating wet or electronic signatures, and implementation of agreements.
Work closely with Director to ensure the efficiency of processes and create new workflows and/or tools, as needed, and proactively seek innovative ways to streamline operations and follow through on implementing new processes as needed.
Assist with contract renegotiations, working with applicable leadership to respond to opportunities for improvement in contract terms and rates.
Research payer market share, products and contracting processes for potential out-of-state expansions.
Acts as liaison between payers, physician groups, and other related payer organizations to ensure all aspects of payer relationships are maintained and managed effectively.
Communicate and educate applicable staff regarding key aspects of new and modified payer contracts.
Manage and update contract terms and renewal dates in contracting systems to ensure timely renewals.
Monitoring contract status, implementation, and internal coordination of contract agreements.
Monitor payer websites to confirm that entities are appropriately and accurately listed.
